About Jewel Stones...

Jewel Stones is a relatively new (2004) line of glass mosaic accent tile, designed by Karen Story, creator of the well-known Dolce Glass Tile line.

Color combinations are added to our pallet every year, providing a shimmering range from which to choose.

To fabricate Jewel Stones, tiny colored glass "chiclets" are cut and then kiln-fired to soften the edges. They are then arranged in a variety of colorful combinations and mesh mounted with a water based adhesive. The result is a lovely array of mosaic-like jewels, in stunning color groupings.

Whether used alone, or with the Jewel Stone liners on either side of the mosaic strip, this product makes a lovely accent to an unbelievably wide array of field tile.
